We are proud to read about the CNMI’s own Dylan Mister and his journey to make the men’s volleyball team at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California. Dylan has long been an active volleyball player in the CNMI, representing our islands in international competitions and competing in local tournaments before taking his talents off island. He worked hard, earned his spot on the team, and is now contributing on the court for the Pirates in one of the most competitive junior college volleyball environments in the country.
I was happy to meet with Robert Uhrle, Consultant for Economic Development to American Samoa Governor Nik Pula. We discussed ways the American Pacific Islands can cooperate on issues of mutual concern on the government and grassroots level. Thank you Robert!
I was proud to cosponsor a House Resolution recognizing 2026 as the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists. The Year celebrates rangelands and pastoralists like our Tinian cattle ranchers that use our natural grasslands to produce food and other animal products.
