There's something special about the mix of hope, pride, and ambition that surrounds a graduating class, and I was deeply honored to deliver the commencement address for nearly 300 graduates of Northern Marianas College last Friday. As I reflected on what message to share, I chose to celebrate what the graduates already carry with them: purpose. Purpose in their hard work, purpose in the dreams they’ve pursued, and purpose in the paths they’re about to forge.
