Gratitude to Lt. Governor Josh Tenorio for WICHE Partnership

Last year, when a funding gap threatened the CNMI’s participation in the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education, I reached out to Guam Lieutenant Governor Josh Tenorio to see if there was a way to keep our students from being affected. This week, I learned that Guam stepped in to help cover the required membership dues, ensuring CNMI students enrolled in WICHE programs could continue their education without interruption. That support will make a real difference for our students and their families, and it was a powerful reminder of what regional cooperation can accomplish when we look out for one another.
