Student Spotlight: Simon T. ‘29

We’re proud to highlight Simon Tang of Saipan whose writing reflects the values and perspective of the CNMI far beyond our shores.  A first-year student at Oberlin College, Simon has been featured on Oberlin Blogs, where he writes candidly about community, growth, and making the most of new experiences while staying grounded in where he comes from.  Oberlin College is a highly selective liberal arts college in Ohio known for academic rigor, creativity, and a strong sense of social engagement.  As a double major in computer science and data science and a student-athlete, Simon represents the talent and promise of the CNMI, showing that students from our islands can thrive and lead at institutions across the country.  Way to go Simon!
