Washington – On Wednesday, Congresswoman Kimberlyn King-Hinds introduced H.R. 3400, the Territorial Response and Access to Veterans’ Essential Lifecare Act (TRAVEL Act of 2025). This landmark legislation aims to improve healthcare access, including specialized medical services, for veterans residing in U.S. territories, particularly those in the Northern Mariana Islands and other underserved areas.
Washington – Today, Congresswoman King-Hinds applauded the bi-partisan confirmation of former Congressman Doug Collins to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs.
“Secretary Collins is very distinguished and well respected,” said Congresswoman King-Hinds. “He understands that the federal government must do more for our veterans. In the CNMI, we have a sizeable veteran population that is not receiving adequate care. They deserve better.”
