Working Across Congress: Meeting with Senator Tim Sheehy

This week, I had the honor of meeting with Montana’s very own Senator Tim Sheehy. Senator Sheehy is a former Navy SEAL and works hard every day to advocate for our veterans. It turns out that veterans in Montana face similar challenges in accessing VA healthcare due to the state’s rural and sparsely populated nature. Having served in the Navy, he worked throughout the Pacific and was very familiar with the CNMI. When I shared the challenges and disparities our people and our veterans experience, he understood exactly what I was talking about. I look forward to fostering this relationship with Senator Sheehy and hope to work with him in the future.
