Full Markup on House Veterans Affairs Committee

On Thursday, the Veterans’ Affairs Committee held a markup on several bills beneficial to veterans, survivors, and their families. I voted in favor of H. R. 3726 the Fisher House Availability Act of 2025, H.R. 785 the Representing our Seniors at VA Act of 2025, H.R. 3482 the Veterans Community Care Scheduling Improvement Act, and H.R. 6047 the Sharri Briley and Eric Edmundson Veterans Benefits Expansion Act of 2026. These bills address a range of issues affecting our veterans, including homeownership, support for catastrophically disabled veterans, senior veteran healthcare, and other critical needs.
