Congratulations to Saipan’s own Brian Youn on earning his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Brian was among thousands of graduates celebrated at Georgia Tech’s 268th Commencement this May. Georgia Tech is one of the nation’s top public research institutions, and it’s wonderful to see students from the Marianas represented at this level. We’re proud of you, Brian and I know your parents are overjoyed to see you succeed. Your achievement reflects both your hard work and the potential of our islands’ youth.

While much remains unknown, many of our elders remain firm in their belief that she was seen on Saipan, and that our islands may hold a key role in this chapter of American history. During our meeting, I committed to supporting efforts to uncover the truth.
