Some CNMI long term residents have recently experienced problems renewing their C37 work permits, including applications being returned or delayed despite being filed correctly. I shared an update after receiving clarification from USCIS on what is happening and how affected applicants should proceed. USCIS has confirmed that the correct renewal fee for C37 Employment Authorization Documents remains $520 and that some applications were rejected in error due to processing issues. Applicants who were affected have been advised to refile with the same documents and valid payment.
