Your Financial Health in Focus
April is National Financial Literacy Month, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge something many of us face but don’t always talk about—money is stressful. Whether it’s stretching a paycheck, saving for the future, or trying to bounce back after a setback, managing personal finances can feel overwhelming. But you’re not alone—and there’s help out there. The Financial Literacy and Education Commission has created a great set of tools to help you get started or get back on track. From budget worksheets and savings checklists to calculators and planning guides—there’s even a section just for teachers. I know that when our families feel financially secure, our whole community is stronger. So I hope you’ll take a look, and maybe find something that helps you or someone you love.
