Welcoming Military and Congressional Leaders to the Marianas

Started the week back in the CNMI welcoming service members and my colleagues in Congress to the Marianas alongside Governor Apatang, Lieutenant Governor Mendiola, Speaker Villagomez and the Mayors of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. We gathered for a leadership luncheon to discuss the ongoing REFORPAC training and the work of the Pacific Air Forces. It was a great opportunity to connect with Congressman Jim Moylan, Congressman Mike Turner, and Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink. I appreciated the chance to speak with them about the CNMI’s strategic importance to our national security and the role we play in advancing the mission of our armed forces.
