Welcome to Washington, Jordan Roiland!
Jordan Roiland, former CNMI resident who is now pursuing his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco, stopped by the Washington congressional office Wednesday. Prior to medical school, Jordan worked with the Commonwealth Health Care Corporation, supporting cancer programs and helping our community through the Covid-19 pandemic. He shared how meaningful his time in the islands was, including a rare visit to Anatahan, and how deeply he values the relationships he built with colleagues and patients alike. Most encouraging of all, Jordan expressed an interest in returning to the CNMI to practice medicine after completing his training. We’re inspired to see individuals who have experienced the CNMI carry that commitment forward, and sincerely hope to welcome him back in the future. Thanks for visiting, Jordan!
