Welcome, CNMI Nutrition Assistance Program

During my recent trip back to the district, I gained valuable insights, particularly into the growing challenges of administering the CNMI’s Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP). I had the chance to meet with NAP Administrator Margaret Aldan, along with Jeremy Sasamoto and Annie Reyes, who are working tirelessly to ensure that benefit levels remain responsive to the needs of our community. They are striving to align these benefits with those of other U.S. jurisdictions, while also considering the unique circumstances of the CNMI. I look forward to ongoing conversations and opportunities to support their critical work.
