A Visit with Judge Ramona Manglona
Right before the Naturalization Ceremony, I had the privilege of sitting down with Chief Judge of the District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands, Ramona Manglona, in her chambers. Chief Judge Manglona is a phenomenal woman and a powerful leader in our justice system. Her insight into the role of the federal judiciary—and its importance in upholding democracy—is both inspiring and deeply grounding. We spoke about the challenges facing the judicial branch, shared thoughts on current events, and reflected on the many things that make our community strong. We even took a moment for a photo in her office with her beautiful view of Tinian as the backdrop.
