U.S. Vets of the FAS Act Heads to Floor

My bill to help Micronesian veterans, H.R. 6652 - U.S. Vets of the FAS Act, passed out of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee Thursday. H.R. 6652 was supported by both Republicans and Democrats and passed by unanimous consent. Chairman Mike Bost and Ranking Member Mark Takano voiced their full support and stated the importance of honoring COFA veterans. Our friends and family in the FAS who served honorably in our military deserve access to VA health benefits. My bill would require the VA to honor their commitments and provide telehealth, beneficiary travel, and medications. The bill now heads to the Floor for consideration by the full House.
