Touring the Important Services for Our Youth

I had the chance to tour the Division of Youth Services this week, where I was able to see firsthand the important work being carried out across their offices, centers, and shelters. During my visit, I sat down with the dedicated staff and with Director Sablan to hear directly about the challenges and needs the agency is facing. These conversations were both insightful and meaningful, as they highlighted the critical role DYS plays in protecting and guiding our young people. I look forward to working closely with the agency to explore ways I can provide meaningful support. Our youth are the future of our islands, and it is our shared responsibility to ensure that their wellbeing and success remain a top priority.
