Last week, I introduced H.R. 6448, the Territories Airport Support Act (TASA) of 2025, to fix outdated federal law and make it easier for airports in the Northern Marianas and other U.S. territories to fund critical infrastructure projects. This legislation recognizes the unique challenges facing economically distressed communities, particularly our territories, and would allow a higher federal cost share for eligible airport projects. We’re proud to be joined by my colleagues from across all insular areas, including Congressman James Moylan of Guam, Congresswoman Amata Radewagen of American Samoa, and Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett of the U.S. Virgin Islands.  We look forward to seeing it advance through Congress and become law to benefit our island communities.
