It’s always inspiring to explore new ideas—especially when they’re backed by decades of experience. This week, I had the pleasure of meeting with Mr. JM Guerrero and his wife Reiko to talk about tourism, economic development, and the path forward for the CNMI. As a former and long-serving Director of the Marianas Visitors Bureau, JM played a pivotal role in building many of the foundations of our tourism industry. We discussed opportunities to boost arrivals and how the CNMI can re-engage in the international conversations that shape our economy.
