Supporting Research for Traumatic Brain Injuries Impacting Veteran

Last Friday, I spoke at Lieutenant General Bergman’s press conference for his bill, the BEACON Act. I am a proud original cosponsor of this legislation as I work to help our veterans suffering from life altering medical conditions, like Traumatic Brain Injuries. The BEACON Act, if made into law, would direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to carry out programs to award grants to conduct research on treatments for traumatic brain injuries.
