Our businesses were already under strain before the typhoon. Now, with repair costs, fewer customers, and the rising cost of fuel for generators, keeping operations going has become even more difficult. I met with U.S. Small Business Administration Public Affairs Specialist Raenada Mason to talk through how SBA is responding for both residents and businesses affected by the disaster. SBA has activated programs to provide access to capital during recovery, and we discussed how those resources can be applied in a way that reflects the realities of doing business in the CNMI. Thank you, Raenada, for the time and the continued work to support our community.
