This week in the House Small Business Committee, we advanced five bipartisan bills aimed at helping small businesses grow—especially in underserved and remote areas like the Marianas. I supported H.R. 2066 to expand capital access for small and low-income communities, and H.R. 3174 to raise SBA loan limits so larger projects are possible. I also voted for H.R. 4491 to improve SBA transparency, H.R. 4495 to increase fraud enforcement, and H.R. 4549 to strengthen the SBA’s Office of Rural Affairs. These proposals help level the playing field and were all unanimously approved by the Committee. I look forward to seeing them move forward in the House.
