Serving the Community at Great Harvest

I was back behind the counter this week, this time as a volunteer at Great Harvest, where I helped make sandwiches, take orders, and connect with constituents. Representing employees, service workers, and businesses has to come from a deep understanding of their day-to-day experiences. That’s why these opportunities are so important to me. I get to hear directly from community members outside of the office and the conference rooms about their experiences, their challenges, and their ideas. I’m grateful for the warm welcome and look forward to continuing these conversations to support our local economy and doing what I can to stay grounded with the issues that matter to you.
