"Sabalu Market" by Byul An finds its place in the Capitol

It was amazing to meet Byul An, her brother One, and chaperone Arisa Sakai-Peters in Washington, DC on Wednesday to celebrate Byul winning the Congressional Art Competition. Byul is an incredibly talented student at Saipan Southern High School and her artwork, Sabalu Market, is an absolute masterpiece that captures the spirit of our islands. This amazing work of art will hang in the halls of Congress for the next year. So proud of you, Byul!
