Every August, the House of Representatives goes on recess. This month away from Washington, which conveniently lines up with some of DC’s hottest weather, gives Members the chance to return to their districts, hear from the people they represent, and stay connected with their communities. It has been a pleasure spending this month with you, and so much has happened in just a few short weeks. I was also glad to sit down with Thomas Manglona of Marianas Press to recap the updates from August and answer his questions, along with yours, about the work I am doing for you.
