Reconnecting with Chairman Jordan

On Wednesday, I met with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan to share updates on the economic conditions in the Marianas and to discuss my pending legislation to improve foreign labor policies that benefit both workers and local businesses in the islands. I also presented Chairman Jordan with a special gift from the Tinian Mayor’s Office of a wooden latte stone featuring a piece of the original Runway Able at North Field, Tinian, once used by the Enola Gay and many other U.S. aircraft during World War II bombing missions.
