Recognizing Local Healthcare Heroes: Annie Trusso and Sinj Lee
This week, we want to shine a light on two incredible healthcare professionals from right here in the CNMI, Annie Trusso and Seung Gin Lee, better known as Sinj, who were recently featured in a USF Health publication by the University of South Florida. Annie, a Pain Management Fellow with USF, and Sinj, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and U.S. Army veteran, are transforming healthcare in our islands. Annie returned home to serve as the CNMI’s only pain management provider, ensuring our residents can receive critical care without having to leave the island. Sinj, inspired by Annie’s work and his own deep roots in the community, is now following in her footsteps through the same fellowship program. Their dedication and service reflect the very best of who we are in the CNMI, people who go out into the world, gain knowledge, and bring it home to uplift our community. We are so grateful for their service.
