Recognizing the American Red Cross’ Service to the CNMI

Last Tuesday, I was honored to visit the American Red Cross Open House in the Rayburn House Office Building and recognize the great work the Red Cross does for communities across our nation and in the CNMI.  I pointedly recognized the NMI Chapter of the Red Cross for their hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering partnership during recovery efforts following Super Typhoon Sinlaku.  From shelter operations to community assistance and preparedness, their dedication has made a real difference for our islands.  It was also nice to learn more about the Red Cross’ lifesaving programs and longstanding partnership with Congress in service to the American people.
