PSS Awarded $669,653 AmeriCorps Grant

The CNMI Public School System has been awarded a $669,653 AmeriCorps State and National grant for fiscal year 2026. The funding will support 85 AmeriCorps volunteers through the Public School System AmeriCorps program, empowering them to deliver evidence-based programs that strengthen our community, ranging from youth mental health initiatives to workforce development. AmeriCorps programs use service and volunteerism to address a community’s compelling needs through a wide range of activities, such as tutoring children or responding to natural disasters.
