This week, I had the opportunity to sit down with two important voices in our community—Luella Marciano, Resident Executive for Indigenous Affairs, and Felix Nogis, Executive Assistant for Carolinian Affairs. We shared thoughtful conversations about their ongoing work to support local communities, elevate underrepresented voices, and preserve the culture and heritage that make our islands so special. I’m grateful for their time, their insight, and their dedication. I look forward to working together to ensure that the needs of our people are not only heard—but reflected in action.
