Partnering with NOAA to Strengthen Weather Services in the Marianas

The last couple of weeks have been a reminder of how quickly weather can change and how important it is to stay prepared. From the recent tropical disturbance to the tsunami alert, we’ve seen just how vital accurate information is in keeping our community safe. On Monday, I had the opportunity to meet with brothers Brandon and Landon Aydlett of the National Weather Service, along with the NOAA Congressional Affairs team, to discuss how NWS supports our region and how we can strengthen that work in Congress. Their commitment to serving the people of the Marianas is clear, and I’m grateful for their leadership.
