Message to the 2025 CNMI Close Up Youth Summit
I had the opportunity to share a message with students participating in the 2025 CNMI Close Up Local Youth Summit this week. I told them how proud I am to see so many young people stepping up, asking questions, and finding their voices as the next generation of leaders. Leadership does not wait for age or position. It starts with the choices we make every day to listen, learn, and serve with integrity. The Close Up program helps our students understand not just how government works, but why it matters. By bringing the summit home to the Marianas, every student here has the chance to engage, connect, and be inspired right in their own community. To all the educators, mentors, and students who made this event possible, thank you. You represent the very best of our islands.
