Meeting with Congresswoman Harriet Hageman

I have been continuing to meet with members to further my mission to increase exposure of the CNMI. This week, I met with Wyoming Congresswoman Harriet Hageman. Hageman used to be the Chair of the Subcommittee on Indian and Insular Affairs. As chair, she presided over hearings related to the Pacific islands and is familiar with some of the crises we face. I met with her to discuss the current issues surrounding the CNMI and how we could work together to find solutions. Meetings like this are crucial to gaining the respect and understanding from my colleagues, which in turn helps us level-up the CNMI and our role in the nation.
