Meeting with CNMI BECQ

On Wednesday, I met with Director Floyd Masga and Juanet Sablan of the CNMI Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality while they were in town to meet with NOAA and regional partners. We discussed environmental needs and issues facing the CNMI, including the potential deep sea mining offshore the CNMI. I appreciated their insight and look forward to continuing to work together in the future.
