Since taking office in January, I have been making my way to various local agencies and having important conversations centered around how I can help. These conversations have been some of the most rewarding and inspiring. This week, I met with the leadership at both DPS and DFEMS - we talked about the challenges they face, identified opportunities, and committed to help make things better. I head back to DC next weekend - heart full and ready to work.
