Thank you to the NMI Chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) for the kind invitation to speak at your general membership meeting this week. We all share a commitment to building up our workforce, and HR professionals are on the front lines—training, guiding, and advancing local talent every day. Preparing our people for opportunity takes real work, and we must match that effort with a strong, revitalized economy that creates the private sector jobs our skilled workers deserve.
