Homeland Security Investigations 101

This week, my staff had the opportunity to meet with the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) team to learn more about their work in the Marianas. HSI is one of several Department of Homeland Security agencies with a strong presence in our islands, employing local residents and carrying out the critical mission of keeping both our community and our nation safe. Assistant Special Agent in Charge John Duenas and Supervisory Special Agent James Beagle III provided a thorough overview of HSI operations in the Guam, CNMI, and Micronesia region, and discussed ways our Congressional Office can continue to support their important work.
