Historic Win in New Zealand for CNMI Badminton
We’re incredibly proud of our Northern Mariana Islands Under-17 Badminton Team for bringing home a historic bronze medal, the CNMI’s first U17 continental team medal, from the 2026 VICTOR Oceania Championships held in Auckland, New Zealand. What an incredible accomplishment, not just for these athletes, but for our entire community! It’s exciting to see their achievement being featured by Pacific Media Network, New Zealand’s premier Pacific content provider dedicated to celebrating Pacific stories and cultural identity. Moments like this show that our young people can shine in any sport, even ones not traditionally associated with our islands.
