Highlighting Content Creators at Small Business Committee Hearing
At Wednesday’s Small Business Committee hearing on digital influence, I raised questions regarding the challenges that digital entrepreneurs encounter in today’s environment. Before serving as Delegate, I co-hosted the first SOME Awards with PalmTrio, the Marianas’ only show recognizing local influencers. Yesterday, I recognized Netty Cee, Zori Talks, and PalmTrio for creating opportunities by sharing our culture and inspiring others through their content. Content creators in the Marianas are more than influencers; they are small business owners whose work fuels a ripple effect, supporting countless others across our economy. Their success, along with other content creators across the Marianas, is our islands’ success, and it deserves to be recognized and supported.
