First bill introduced! Supporting U.S. Workers in the CNMI

Exciting news! This week, I introduced my first bill in Congress, H.R.1797 - To amend the Wagner-Peyser Act to include the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa, and for other purposes. This bill would ensure that workers in the CNMI receive the same employment assistance, job training, and labor exchange just like the 50 states, Puerto Rico, and Guam. With the current economic situation going on in the CNMI, we need to ensure that our workforce has the support, resources, and training needed to remain in the CNMI and find new opportunities.
