FAA Administrator Testifies at Aviation Subcommittee Hearing

On Tuesday, I participated in a House Subcommittee on Aviation hearing with FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford, where we discussed the state of American aviation and the challenges facing our airspace. I highlighted the unique difficulties confronting the Commonwealth Ports Authority, including funding and infrastructure pressures, and Administrator Bedford acknowledged the importance of consistent support for airports in the territories. I invited him to visit the Northern Marianas so he can see these challenges firsthand. Strong, modern, and well-resourced aviation infrastructure in the Northern Marianas is essential for the economic and national security of the U.S.
