Exploring New Opportunities in Manufacturing
I had the great pleasure of meeting with executives from Zo Motors this week, joined by Dr. Robert Underwood, to talk about the future of manufacturing and the possibility of producing electric vehicles right here at home. This is an exciting endeavor and a strong example of the kinds of opportunities that can help diversify our economy. I appreciated the chance to hear where they are in their plans, how they see this industry growing, and how the CNMI fits into their long-term vision. There are areas where the federal government can support efforts to bring new industries like this into the Marianas, and I look forward to doing my part to help move these opportunities forward.
