Establishing Connections on Federal Relations
I had the opportunity to meet jointly with both the CNMI House and Senate Federal Relations Committee Chairmen, Representative BJ Attao and Senator Karl King-Nabors. Their committees play a critical role in partnering with our work in Washington, DC, especially as we push for a united front on federal issues impacting our economic recovery. Joined by Representatives Vincent Aldan and Joseph Flores, we discussed the state of our economy, the challenges facing our tourism sector, and collaborative steps we can take to increase air service, expand employment opportunities, and advocate for the real needs of the CNMI in Congress. I appreciate the time and commitment of Chairmen Attao and King-Nabors and all our local leaders working to move the Marianas forward. Together, we will keep fighting for solutions that bring stability and growth to our islands. Let’s do this!
