Enlightening Visit to Power Plant 1

I had the tremendous opportunity to tour Saipan Power Plant No. 1 with the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation on Monday to see up close the state of their energy generation infrastructure. I greatly appreciated the CUC engineering team educating me about the challenges they have been facing and the needs they have. The mechanics, repairmen, and engineers of CUC are truly the unsung heroes of our islands, and I am committed to finding solutions to our energy infrastructure difficulties while I’m in DC.
