Driving Economic Solutions with CNMI Business Leaders
Businesses are at the heart of any community—they provide jobs, generate income, deliver essential goods and services, and support government operations through taxes. A strong, stable private sector benefits everyone, which is why it’s so important to listen to and collaborate with our business leaders. This week, I had the opportunity to meet with the Board of Directors of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce. We discussed how we can work together to unearth every stone on the path to economic recovery, including efforts to resume tourism, establish federal tax incentive programs, encourage economic diversification, and pursue common-sense approaches to federal regulations.
