Thank you to Dr. Rita Sablan for stopping by to meet with Congressman Moylan and me to discuss the important work of the Institute of Educational Sciences (IES) and the Regional Educational Laboratories (REL) in our region. IES-REL provides valuable research and evidence to inform education policy and practice, especially in the Pacific. With education programs facing funding reductions nationwide, we appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the role Pacific RELs play and how their work can continue to support students and educators in the Marianas and beyond.
