Celebrating our Davis Cup Team
We’re proud to congratulate our CNMI athletes and coaches, Jeff Race, Robbie Schorr, Anthony Gregoire, Colin Ramsey, and Colin Sinclair, for their outstanding performance last month at the Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group V tournament in the Kingdom of Bahrain. With a decisive 2-0 victory over the Maldives in the promotional play-off, our team secured its place in next year’s Asia/Oceania Group IV, a milestone in tennis in the Marianas and a testament to the talent we continue to grow at home. Their achievement was even highlighted internationally in an article by The Gulf Daily News, underscoring how far our athletes have come. Competing internationally is never easy, yet our delegation showed skill, discipline, and the spirit that defines our islands. We celebrate this achievement and wish our team continued success as they represent the Northern Marianas with pride in the year ahead.
