Celebrating Guam’s 81st Liberation Day

On Wednesday, I had the honor of joining Congressman Jim Moylan and former Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo of Guam at a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery to commemorate the 81st Liberation Day of Guam. This solemn occasion reminds us of the sacrifices made by the people of Guam during World War II and the enduring resilience of our Marianas communities. The strong cultural, historical, and familial ties between the CNMI and Guam continue to unite us in shared purpose and mutual respect. Happy Liberation Day, Guam!
