Bringing the Northern Marianas’ Voice to Roll Call
I recently sat down with Roll Call to talk about what it means to represent the people of the Northern Marianas in Congress, from the long commutes and time zone challenges to the very real “tyranny of distance” that shapes nearly every issue we face. I share how advocating for our islands requires constant education, ensuring our colleagues understand our healthcare limitations, economic realities, and national security importance in the Indo-Pacific. Whether it’s pushing for fair federal funding, strengthening our healthcare infrastructure, or protecting our tourism economy, I remain focused on making sure our voices are heard in rooms where decisions about our future are made. Representing our community in Congress is the honor of a lifetime, and I’ll keep fighting every day to deliver for the Northern Marianas.
