Bringing CNMI’s Transportation Priorities to Washington

No one understands our roads better than the people who drive them, plan them, and help build them—and that’s why I made it a priority to meet with the team at the CNMI Department of Public Works this week. As a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, I want to make sure the national conversations I participate in—about federal highway funding, transportation access, and infrastructure development—reflect the on-the-ground realities of our islands. DPW’s insight and experience are invaluable, and I’m grateful for the decades of local knowledge they shared with me. There’s a packed committee schedule ahead in Washington, and I’ll be carrying their voices and priorities with me every step of the way.
