Bringing the CNMI’s Reality to an International Audience

I had the opportunity to sit down with ABC News Australia to talk about what our islands are facing right now and how global events are being felt here at home. We spoke candidly about the fuel crisis and the pressure it is placing on families, businesses, and essential services. I shared that for communities like ours, global instability is not distant. It shows up immediately in the cost of living and in the strength of our economy. I also made clear that my focus remains on bringing relief to our people. While broader geopolitical debates continue, the responsibility here is to make sure our community can get through the challenges in front of us. These conversations matter because they help others understand what life looks like in the CNMI and why timely, practical solutions are needed.
